aving been established for over 30 years as well as being on the pioneering forefront, both galleries in their own right have received numerous awards, acknowledgements, journalistic focus, famous visits and a place in Hollywood history as a location. All in all, it is our response from our clients that is the cornerstone of our success and reputation.
Many of our clients from 30 years ago still come back or refer to us, and today this is our biggest reward and reason for our success. We have a philosophy that started 30 years ago and is still unchanged today. It states, 'we are in the business of selling art but, we rarely sell it, we find a home for it'. This philosophy still holds true today and have on many occasions found it difficult to part with a work of art because of attachment. We do feel comfort in the fact that client has a love for it equalling our own and growing evermore. It is this love for art that we share in common with our clients.
Among the 'Honors' that we receive, we consider another to be a client who happens to pass by and took the step of walking in. This new client un-refered, is the one to be judged by. He/she is most discerning and has had the opportunity of studying the art of the region on his many visits to other galleries. We and the artists pride ourselves on the work we exhibit and the client too shares in this pride. This pride and consequent love for a work of art is the most important ingredient of our philosophy.
Newspaper reviews, articles and awards too are an honor but do not compare with those honors received from our clients. This is due to the fact that we cannot share this pride or love for art and this honor is left without the emotion that we share directly with our client.
Last but not least is Hollywood. We have had many famous visits from Stephanie Powers, William Holden, Richard Rowndtree, Michael Landon, H. E. The Prince of Saudi Arabia, Isabella Rosilini, James Earl Jones, John Lithgow, Tom Skerrit, Gary Striker (of CNN) and the list goes on. We are honored on their visits to our galleries.
In addition, we have had the filming of 'The Ivory Hunters' take place in Kumbu Kumbu starring Isabela Roselini, James Earl Jones, John Lithgow and others. Our ideal location and unique design make both our galleries a worthwhile visit...
